What is a ball mill?

Ball mill is an important crushing equipment widely used in industries such as mineral processing, building materials, and chemical engineering. It is mainly used for dry or wet grinding of various ores and other grindable materials. The ball mill can grind materials into very small particles to meet the requirements of subsequent production processes.

How does a ball mill work?

The working principle of a ball mill is to drive the cylinder to rotate through a motor, and the cylinder is equipped with a certain number and size of grinding balls. When the cylinder rotates, the grinding ball is carried to a certain height under the action of centrifugal force and friction force, and then falls down to impact and grind the material. The material is constantly impacted, rubbed, and squeezed by grinding balls inside the cylinder, gradually being crushed and finely ground.
